Foam Alternatives!

Even though foam is no longer being sold in California, there are a lot of alternatives to the product. Here are a few alternatives!

Compostable Bagasse or Molded Fiber: Used for either hot or cold products, composable items come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Plastic (PET): One of the most common alternatives, PET plastic containers also come in a variety of shaped and sizes. PET can be recycled making it environmentally friendly.
MFPP: Mineral filled polypropylene are made from a combination of plastic and mineral fillers like talc. This makes the product stronger and more heat resistant.
Aluminum: This highly versatile material is great resistant and can be used for hot and cold food.
Coated paper: Paper comes in a variety of coatings from poly to plant based.
